George GStar Wiki

George “GStar” is an American entrepreneur, rapper, singer-songwriter, philanthropist and fashion designer. He is known for becoming a self-made millionaire through his logistics and metal recycling businesses, along with his real estate investments, being dubbed "King of the Down Markets." His first rap EP, “Dark World,” was announced on Mar, 12, 2022.[1]

Early life[]

GStar was born on November 22, 1992 in Corona, Queens in New York City. He grew up in the project tenement housing of Lefrak City, one of the most dangerous project housing developments in North America. He was raised by a single mother who worked many different jobs to provide for him and his brother. He often spent time in Florida, where his extended family members lived. GStar was eventually sent to Florida to multiple schools, as well as boys programs, but was eventually expelled. GStar had a troubled childhood and was often involved in street fights, criminal mischief, and other questionable activities. In addition he was witnessed to a brutal murder of his cousin at age 6. He practiced amateur boxing, winning local boxing awards and becoming ranked nationally at the age of 13, prior to being expelled from schooling and had begun his sentence in a juvenile detention center.[2]

He was eventually expelled from school for repeated fighting and threats and spent time in a juvenile detention program known as C34 in New York. Initially self-educated, he attended the City University of New York with his GED. He began to invest into multiple businesses immediately upon his release. His passion for business and knowledge of the streets, led him to eventually get a ground work understanding of all of his customers in the businesses he had begun to grow, the first being scrap metal and the second, garbage collection. This unique combination would be the beginning of his success in the business and international investment world.

GStar then moved to San Fransisco California after being offered his own reality show, but declined to participate due to his prior business engagements.

Music career[]

GStar began his career as a rapper by posting an accidental snippet to the audio streaming site SoundCloud. GStar having never rapped before, posted a sound audio clip, messing around with some of his already then rapper friends and associates at a studio in North Hollywood, California. Shortly after the clip went viral, it was then removed from SoundCloud for violating policy. Record labels such as 8mm Entertainment, Atlantic UK, 10K-Projects, and Periscope Entertainment quickly expressed interest in signing him as an artist for his already pre existing large social media following of business and lifestyle content.[1] GStar then moved forward with his rap career while maintaining all of his pre-existing business ventures. He then began a friendship with Mobile, Alabama up and coming rapper NoCap (Kobe Vidal Crawford). GStar credits the beginning of his music career to NoCap. Eventually, Gstar announced “Dark World” as his debut single in December 2022.[3] He also announced plans for a music video, which are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic affecting large productions in Los Angeles. GStar plans to release his first debut single along side NoCap in the winter of 2022.[1]

GStar names XXXTentacion, Kurt Cobain, Tommy Lee, and K-Pop star G-Dragon as some of his musical influences.[1]

GStar learned rap by the help of some close celebrity friends in the music industry as well as some well noted producers and beat makers.[1]

GStar began a scrap metal and garbage collection business, which became his first million-dollar venture, making him a millionaire at age 21.[2] He also operated motor recycling firms in the United States and Russia.[4]

GStar also made large profits from real estate investing during the downturn of the Miami housing crisis. In addition to his assets in the U.S, he also has real estate investments both domestic and internationally in cities and countries such as; Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Latin America and the EU.[1][5] His real estate investments have estimated generated more than $85 million.[1][5]

GStar holds stake ownership in a multitude of businesses in industries such as logistics, international freight forwarding, bail bonds, gaming, personal lending,[1] CBD, affiliate marketing, and entertainment.[2][4] His privately held companies have estimated over $140 million in assets under management (AUM). He also owns over 280 e-commerce websites that generate over $75 million in recurring revenue.[2]

GStar is also a public speaker who has talked about topics such as leadership, real estate investing, entrepreneurship, finance, and social psychology. His long list of celebrity, religious, sports, music, and political associations have brought him worldwide recognition in both the business and entertainment world.
